It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When:  , Thursday, 4:30 p.m.
Why Go: This is a Kang's Black Belt Academy program! Tiny Tigers is a Mommy and Me martial arts class that helps with motor skill development, social interaction and parent-child bonding. Call 412-833-5600 to register.

Where/When: , Thursday - Saturday, 6 - 10 p.m.
Why Go: The St. Thomas More Family Festival is fun for all ages! Dinner is served from 5-7 p.m. There will be rides, games, a giant flea market, festival food, bingo and a $10,000 raffle. Live music will be the entertainment each night!

Where/When: , Friday, 6 p.m.  
Why go?: Get creative and start planting! Bring your most unusual container to the class and the staff will assist you with plant selection advice. The winner will take home their creation for free! Click here to register.

Why Go: Get into shape at this 50-minute workout program. The experience is matched with wide-screen, high definition tour video with matching motivational music on the surround sound system. Child care is provided!

Where/When: , Friday, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Why go?: Silver&Fit is a fitness and healthy aging program designed to help you achieve better health through regular exercise.

Where/When: , Friday and Saturday, 1:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Dooby Dooby Moo is based on the book by Doreen Cronin. The show features a Talent Show at the County Fair with farm animals. Everyone in the family will enjoy this "mooooosical!"
Pricing: Children 15 and under: $12; Adults: $14

Where/When: South Park, Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why Go?: This event is to honor Lisa Clay Styles as a mother, wife, friend and runner. Lisa was hit by a car when the car ran a stop sign on Jun. 28, 2010. She passed away the following day. Her final act before being struck was to push the stroller with two of her young children to safety. The race will start near the Children's Playground in South Park and continue up Corrigan Drive. This is a stroller-friendly 5K Run and 1 mile walk. Click here to register.
Pricing: $25 for the 5K Run, $20 for the 1 mile walk. All participants registering in advance are guaranteed a t-shirt.

Where/When: 710 Washington Road, Saturday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Why Go?: The Uptown Farmers Market is located at 600-750 Washington Road and Clearview Common. Parking is just $1 in the municipal garages. There are children's activities every morning in Clearview Common. All products are produced within 150 miles. Items include seasonal produce, organic meats, bread, pastries, soaps, candles, salsa, wild salmon, flowers and more!

Where/When: Keystone Canine Training Club, Sunday, 1 - 4 p.m.
Why Go?: The Keystone Canine Training Club is celebrating its new state-of-the-art facility with a FREE training expo and open house. There will be free workshops for dog owners every half hour and demonstrations of American Kennel Club agility, obedience and rally skills by some of the top dogs. Also, the event will offer door prizes, free samples and information on pet insurance. All are welcome to attend!
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: Red Carpet Miniature Golf Course, Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why Go?: The first tournament will kick off on Jun. 26 at the original Red Carpet Miniature Golf Course, located on Rt. 19 in North Strabane. Registration begins at 11:45 a.m. and the first group tee off at 12 p.m. The tournament is for mini golfers of all ages and skills with door prizes drawn from all registrations. The cost includes two rounds of golf.
