1. Streams Elementary Eighth Annual Silent Auction
Where/When:
Streams Elementary, 6 p.m. on Thursday
Why Go: The Streams gym will be transformed to raise money for Charity: Water. There'll be crafts, water activities and a water photobooth. There will also be great items up for auction and raffle including kid-generated services, busy night dinners and more! Last year's auction raised $9,000 for Casey's Clubhouse.
Pricing: Tickets are $1 each or 7 for $5

2. Handbags, Hats and Heels High Tea
Where/When: St. Thomas More Church, 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The "Handbags, Hats and Heels" High Tea will be held in the St. Thomas More Family Life Center. There will be lunch, raffles, door prizes, fashion stylist and make-up artist. Come in your most stylish hat, your highest heels and carry your biggest, or smallest handbag. Prizes may be awarded!
Pricing: $25 for adults, $15 for children under 10, call 412-833-0031 opt 5 for ticket information.

3. 2012 Washington Wild Things Hot Stove
Where/When: Doubletree Hotel in Washington, 5:30 to 11 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Casey's Clubhouse invites you to the 2012 Washington Wild Things Hot Stove. This event is hosted by Dermontti Dawson, Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro Center. The dinner will be held at the Doubletree on Racetrack Road. The event is business casual attire. Specials guests include Bob Walk, Sean Casey, Lanny Frattare and Chris Bando. Come spend a night enjoying a fine dining experience, and silent and Chinese auctions with the lineup of baseball greats. Proceeds benefit Casey's Clubhouse, a Pirates' charity in its construction and maintenance of a miracle league field. Click here for the RSVP form.

4. 4th Annual “Lovers not Fighters” Gala
Where/When: Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum , 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go?: Come out for the 4th Annual "Lovers not Fighters" Gala at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. This is an evening to benefit Pit Bull rescue, speuter and education. The event includes hors d’oeuvre and dessert buffet, raffle, silent and live auction, DJ and much more.

5. Great Decisions Forum at Westminster
Where/When: Westminster Presbyterian Church, 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: Westminster Presbyterian Church will host the Westminster Great Decisions Forum. Great Decisions is a national program created by the Foreign Policy Association. People from the entire community are invited to join in lively discussion on timely issues of world affairs and public policy. The list of topics change annually. Call 412-835-6630 to register.
