It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When: , Thursday, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Why Go: The Upper St. Clair Lions Club has just in the Western Presbyterian Church Parking lot until Oct. 13.

2.
Where/When: Hollywood Theater Dormont, Thursday, 6 to 10 p.m.
Why Go?: Meet 2009 . This award-winning film by Michealene Risley exposes the myth, widely held in Africa, that raping a virgin cures a man of HIV. In the voices of young girls and Makoni herself, it also details Makoni's struggles and triumphs in creating the Girl Child Network of shelters for abused girls. The celebration of hope begins with appetizers and music at 6 p.m. The film shows at 7 p.m. and there will be Q&A with Makoni afterward. All proceeds from this all-volunteer event go to the Girl Child Network. Most of the event organizers are from neighborhoods, businesses and churches in the South Hills.

Where/When: , Thursday, 7 p.m.
Why Go?: All interested recruits and their dads are invited to learn about the Indian Guides and Indian Princesses Program. The program is for boys and girls from kindergarten to grade 3.

Where/When: South Park Theater, Thursday-Saturday, 8 p.m., Sunday, 2 p.m.  
Why Go?: Phase 3 presents a fresh, modern take on this beloved musical classic. Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, the sparkling score boasts a string of well-loved songs. Godspell is a unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love.

Where/When: South Park, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: Birds of Prey allows residents a close-up look at eagles, hawks and falcons.

Where/When: Pottery Barn at the Galleria, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: The National Geographic Little Explorers Club is coming to Pottery Barn at the Galleria in Mount Lebanon. This week, the club will focus on all things tigers! Children, ages 3 and up, will learn all about these big cats through hands-on activities, songs and more! Children will receive a badge for each event they attend. Call 412-344-1615 to register.

Where/When: , Saturday, 12:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Have fun with friends, roll some dice and raise money to help find a cure for breast and ovarian cancer. The game is easy and you don’t have to know how to play to join in. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the game starts promptly at 1:30 p.m. The registration fee reserves a spot at a Bunco table and includes table snacks, dessert bar, a goody bag and chances for door prizes. Raffle tickets for gift baskets and a 50/50 drawing will be on sale during the event. Prizes will be awarded for “most wins” and “most Buncos,” as well as table and door prizes. All proceeds benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Where/When: , Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go?: Woodville Plantation presents a special 18th century music concert featuring George Balderose and Richard Hughes. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of authentic 18th century Scots-Irish music in the historic surroundings or the parlor at Woodville Plantation. George Balderose and Richard Hughes are nationally renowned musicians and experts in Scottish, Irish and Appalachian music. Both musicians are members of the group Road to the Isles. A wine and cheese reception will follow the concert. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event.

Where/When: , Sunday, 1 p.m.
Why Go?: Come join the Upper St. Clair Recreation Department for the First Annual NFL PP&K at Boyce Mayview Park! This "Punt, Pass, Kick" program is for ages six to 15. Register online before the event. Participants should arrive at 12:30 p.m.to sign-in at the Registration Desk, located at Boyce Mayview multi-purpose fields. A birth certificate or religious document is required to verify age.
