It’s Thanksgiving, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the rest of the holiday weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for you and your family to celebrate! Check out our top picks—there's something for everyone.

Where/When: 2556 Giant Oaks Dr., 9:30 a.m. on Thursday
Why Go?: The 5th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot features a fun run and walk. Before the family arrives and the football games begin, enjoy this 2 mile fun run or walk. Everyone is welcome, including strollers and dogs! All money will be donated to SHIM. The starting line will be on the path going towards on Giant Oaks Dr. The finish line will be at the Fink's driveway.

Why Go?: The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents the Broadway musical production of the classic, whimsical tale of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, from Nov. 22 to 27 at the Benedum Center. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, is based on Dr. Seuss’ original book, and features popular songs "You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas” from the original animated television series, among other songs written for this stage production.

Where?/When?: St. Peter and St. Paul Hall, 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
Why Go?: Stage & Steel Productions Community Theatre presents "A Medieval Christmas Carol." This is a new take on the classic Dickens' tale. King Ebenezer must confront the ghosts of his past, present, and future in order to appreciate the true meaning of the Yule Tide. As in a true Stage & Steel Production, there are sword fights, challenges, and a tournament. Watch and become a part of the show as the players narrate the story. The King is a cold hearted man, refusing to join in the Yule Tide cheer. One night, King Scrooge is paid a visit by his departed father, who foretells the king's doom if he does not change his ways.

Where?/When?: Koolkat Designs, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Local artist, Maria Richmond, will be having a Trunk Show at Koolkat Designs. Maria will be showing her beautiful, handcrafted copper wire and bead necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more! Her jewelry makes a truly unique holiday gift. Ample street and lot parking will be available.

Where?/When?: , 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The C&RC scuba program, USCUBA, in conjunction with Washington Scuba Center, will have certified scuba instructors, divemasters and graduates of the USCUBA program on hand to introduce participants on the safe use of scuba equipment, assist with gear fitting and answer any questions about diving. This year's event will feature "Seniors in Scuba," demonstrating that the only requirement for the adventure sport of scuba is a sense of adventure. This program allows members and guests, ages 10 and over, the experience of breathing underwater without having to attend formal classroom or scuba skills training. Why Go?: Enjoy the season of lights! Come meet Santa and enjoy sleigh rides and be there when Old St. Nick lights the tree! Top the night off with a full fireworks display!

Why Go?: Enjoy special discounts, live music, samples, fun family photos, Christmas displays and much more! Test your Christmas knowledge with the Christmas Trivia for chances to win up to $100 in Trax Farms gift cards! Santa arrives at 5:30 p.m.

Where?/When?: Heinz Field, 8 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: ' football team will be playing against North Allegheny in the WPIAL championship at Heinz Field! The USC Panthers football team have advanced to the WPIAL Championship Finals! If you haven't gotten your tickets, they will be available for purchase in the high school athletic office on Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and again on game day Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon. The game will be on tape-delay on television.
Pricing: Price for presale at school or on the web is $10 adult and $5 for students. The night of the game, all tickets will be $10.00 at Heinz Field.
