Get Out: Triathlon, Butterflies and Fields to Fork

Here are five events to check out this weekend.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.
Well, Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our picks for the best activities to hit.

Where?/When?: 320 McMurray Rd, Pittsburgh, PA, 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday
Why Go?: The DeMarillac Guild of St. Louise DeMarillac Church is holding a flea market "Timeless Treasures" on Friday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 28 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a bag sale from noon to 1 p.m. in the LeGras Parish Center. Items will include jewelry, decorative items, knick knacks, kitchen items, gently used children's clothing to 4T and much more.

Where?/When?: , 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go?: Do you have a child who likes to swim, bike and run? If so, then the Annual Youth Triathlon at Boyce Mayview Park would be the right place for them to show their spirit!
Pricing: $30

3.
Where/When: , 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go: Join the experts from the Pennsylvania Mushroom Club as they lead you on a search for food from the forest. Often confusing for novices hunters, you’ll be able to separate
myth from reality while learning about the fascinating world of edible mushrooms. The diverse habitats of Boyce Mayview Park provide ample opportunities for successful wildlife sightings, wildflower photos and mushroom hunting! Where?/When?: South Park Nature Center at 10 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: All ages are invited to look for and learn about these beautiful, fascinating creatures. Appropriate for youth and adults.

5.
Where?/When?: at 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Bedner Farm’s Fields to Fork event will feature U-pick veggies, hayrides, cooking demonstrations and more. .
Pricing: U-Pick and Hayride: $12 and Hayride Only: $5, other activities vary.
