It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where?/When?: South Park Theatre, Thursday-Saturday, Aug. 10-13, 8 p.m.
Why Go?: The South Park Theatre presents "The Psychic." The play is about a down-on-his luck writer, in desperation to make the rent, who puts a sign in his apartment window "Psychic Readings $25." This sign draws a variety of characters into a tangled murder mystery comedy.
Pricing: Basic admission is $12 and $15 for musicals, and subscribers pay $10 for shows. Discounted rates for groups of 15 people or more are available at $2 off per person

Where?/When?: , Saturday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Why Go?: The 12th Annual and Peters Township Fishing Derby will be held at . All children grades kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to participate. Awards will be given for the largest, smallest, first fish caught and most fish caught! Don’t miss the chance to win prizes like a portable DVD player, personal iPod, digital camera—just to name a few. Smaller prizes are also awarded just for participating! Register on the township's website, or at the .
Pricing: Resident $5; non-resident $10.

Where?/When?: Pottery Barn Kids at the Galleria, Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: Learn how to create a beautiful room like you see in the Pottery Barn catalog. The staff will provide you with great tips on creating a beautiful environment for your new baby.
Pricing: Free.

Where?/When?: Michaels, Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon
Why Go?: Ages 3 and up will Create a crafty bookworm from a clay pot for great place to hold your bookmarks and other knickknacks. This is a make-it take-it program that is free with purchase of clay pot, while supplies last.
Pricing: Free.

Where?/When?:  Lowe's, Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Why Go?: It's for kids around 5 and up. Younger kids can come too, as long as the parents are willing to help them with the projects. The kids will get a free apron, goggles, and a project patch. Parents stay there while the kids work on the projects.This week the project is a school house photo holder.
Pricing: Free.

Where?/When?: , Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Why Go?: Smell the fresh air and stretch your legs on our Saturday Outdoors Hikes. These one hour hikes will cover a different topic each month while following the many beautiful trails around the classroom. These hikes are perfect for all ages and great for family activities that will give everyone a chance to connect with the nature found right here in the local area. Call 412-838-0064 to register.
Pricing: $3 per person.

Where?/When?: Michaels, Saturday, noon to 2 p.m.
Why Go?: Participants will create a stylish and sturdy folder perfect to help with organization for the upcoming school year. This make-it, take-it program is for ages 3 and up and will last until supplies run out.

Where?/When?: , Saturday, 9-10 p.m.
Why Go?: Join the Outdoor Classroom on an hour hike through the many beautiful trails around the park. All ages are welcome! Call 412-838-0064 to register.
Pricing: $3 per person.

Where/When:, Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Why Go?: In accordance with Chapter 68 of the Township Code, residents of Upper St. Clair are no longer allowed to place electronics out on the curbside for pick-up. On the second Saturday of each month there will be an e-cycling event in the Township parking lot.
Pricing: Fees may apply to larger items.

10.
Where?/When?: Oliver Miller Homestead, Sunday, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Why Go?: An 18th Century Flax Fest will be held at the historic Oliver Miller Homestead in South Park. Visitors will see the processing of flax from harvesting to rippling, retting, breaking, scutching, hackling, spinning and being woven into cloth on the loom. This historic festival will be fun and interesting for the whole family!
Pricing: $2.
