It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Why Go?: Stop by Bedner's Greenhouse for the Official Grand Re-Opening for the 2011 Season !

Where/When: , Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
Why go?: Elementary students from the Upper St. Clair School District will perform a string concert!

Where/When: , Friday, 3:30 - 6 p.m.
Why go?: Fourth graders from ALL USC elementary school are invited to enjoy the end of their school year at the C&RC. Space is limited, so register now! This is the first day for this program.
Pricing: $50 per child

Where/When: , Saturday, 6 - 10 p.m.
Why Go?: This event includes a cash bar, reception and dinner. Keynote speakers include U.S. Senator, Pat Toomey, State Representative-Majority Leader, Mike Turzai. There will also be a presentation of the Upper St. Clair Republican of the Year Award.

Why Go?: Pre-school children, ages 3 1/2 - 5, will enjoy this fun and educational half-hour class of songs, finger plays and book-related activities.

Why Go?: A variety of vendors will represent a wide range of products at this show. There will also be some hand-crafted items from area crafters. This is a fundraising event for Prime Time Adult Care

Where/When: Pottery Barn Kids at the Galleria , Saturday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: The National Geographic Little Explorers Club is coming to Pottery Barn Kids at the Galleria in Mount Lebanon. This week, the topic is sharks! Children, ages 3 and up, will learn all about ocean creatures through hands-on activities, quizzes, songs and more!

Where/When: , Saturday, 12 - 3 p.m.
Why Go?: Westminster Nursery School's fourth annual fundraiser "Touch a Truck, Meet a Princess at Westminster Nursery School Family Fun Day" will be held in the Westminster Presbyterian Church parking lots. The event will feature trucks/cars from local companies, princesses, train rides, horse and carriage, and games for the children of Westminster Nursery School and residents of the community.
Pricing: $5 per person or $25 for a family, kids 2 and under are free

Where/When: , Sunday, 8 - 10 a.m.
Why Go?: The Audubon Society of Western PA and the Outdoor Classroom will teach the group how to identify some of the more common spring bird species in the area. Don't forget your binoculars! Download a registration form here.
