Where/When: parking lot, 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday
Why Go: The third annual event will occur every Thursday throughout the summer. Dozens of vendors will be selling fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs, along with cheeses, meats, pies and more.

Where/When: Brownsville Rd & McCorkle Rd, South Park, PA, 7:30 p.m. on Friday
Why Go: The concert series kicks off the first weekend in June with pop/rock singer-songwriter (and Bethel Park product) Steve Moakler performing at the South Park Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Where?/When?: 2728 Pennsylvania 168, Hookstown, PA, 9 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Men’s Ministry Group at Christ United Methodist Church is inviting the public to help those in their neighborhood and around the world by participating in the 4th Annual Bridges Golf Tournament at the Ponderosa Golf Course. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit (TNC) and Family Promise. Shotgun start for the tournament is at 9 a.m. The registration fee includes the greens fee for 18 holes, golf cart, lunch at the turn and dinner, giveaway items and skill prizes. Why Go: The Summer Celebration Lecture Series and Sale features 20 percent off all plants, trees and fish. The seminars include “New Introduction” from 10 to 11 a.m. and “Water Gardening” from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Why Go: Paul Qui, winner of Season 9 Top Chef and the executive chef at Uchiko restaurant in Austin, Texas, will make an appearance at the local grocery store.
