The schedule for this year's event is:

  • 10-11 a.m.: Nature Hike for all ages and abilities. This is wheelchair, stroller and dog friendly.
  • 10-11 a.m.: Log Search for Pre K through second grade and family lead by the Outdoor Classroom.
  • 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Recycled crafts in the learning lab.
  • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Crafts in the C&RC lobby.
  • 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Dog training demonstration with German Shepherds!
  • 12-1 p.m.: Creek/Pond Study for all ages lead by The Outdoor Classroom staff. Get a little wet and wiggely with the Classroom staff as we hunt for crayfish and other tiny creatures! Best for children that can walk down the hill on their own.
  • 12-1 p.m.: Dog friendly hike! All dogs must be on a 6’ non-retractable leash and under control at all times. Please bring “doggie bags” to keep the park clean. No females in heat please
  • 1-2 p.m.: Meditation demonstration for adults with Dorit Brauer
  • “Spontaneous Acts of Beauty” hike for children 8 – 12 yr old (with or without an adult) with Indigo Raffle. This is a walking workshop celebrating the beauty of the forest.
