The holiday season is officially over. Your Christmas tree is probably losing its luster and turning into a fire hazard. But don't toss your fraser fir to the curb, Upper St. Clair officials ask that you recycle your tree this year.
Starting Monday Jan. 3, residents will have three weeks to drop off their Christmas trees in the upper parking lot of the South Hills Area YMCA on McMurray Road. Make sure to remove all ornaments and decorations. All the trees will be ground into mulch for residents' use.
