The Community & Recreation Center held a Family Prom Friday night for a fun, social event.
Upper St. Clair’s Community & Recreation Center (CRC) held a Family Prom Friday night that encouraged members and non-members to invite their families out for an enchanted evening of socializing and fun. The two hour event began at 6:30 p.m. and offered attendees a spread of food, music and dancing, crafts and a backdrop where family photos could be taken.
“The main goal is to create and provide a healthy event where families can interact with other families in the area,” said Sarah Povazan, Membership and Marketing Services Coordinator at the CRC.
CRC employees ran the event, but had help from two volunteers at the craft tables, middle school students Madeline and Emily Fagelson.

"I like helping the kids because I like working with kids. It's fun because I like to see how the younger kids work with the older kids," Madeline said.
