There is also a chance of snow Monday and Tuesday.

You better bundle up this week as bitterly cold temperatures are expected to move into Peters Township.

Dennis Sims, a meteorologist at Air Science Consultants in Bridgeville, told Chartiers Valley Patch last week that he expected the bitter temperatures to arrive in the South Hills on Tuesday.

Sims said the middle of the week would have lows in single digits and highs in the teens.
