5 Things To Do This Weekend: Go Club, BBQ and Riverhounds

The weekend is almost here and you have no idea what you're going to. Well, Upper St. Clair Patch is coming to the rescue with our new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner!

We’ve got 5 of the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When: , Thursday, 6:30-7:30 p.m.  
Why Go?: Students in grades 1-8 are invited to learn the ancient Chinese game of Go. The game will be taught by Charles Fry, a local parent. The games is about strategy, not unlike chess, but with simpler rules. Go allows players to learn the game quickly and become good at playing with a lot of practice.

Where/When: , Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Why go?: Children ages 3 and older will love this kit! Kids will create a Biplane that comes with two complete sets of stickers and punch out pilots.

Where/When: , Saturday, 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Why Go?: The S.N.A.P. BBQ Fundraiser will be held on the Opening Day of the Outdoor Pool. Don't forget to bring cash or credit card to help raise funds for the Special Needs Active Programs. Roadside Ribs will offer participants a variety of delicious BBQ options.

Why Go?: The Pittsburgh Riverhounds take on the Wilmington Hammerheads. Let’s go Riverhounds!
Pricing: $9/Adults, $6/Students

Where/When: National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Monday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: The service is open to all. Veterans and their spouses
are especially encouraged to attend. There will be reflections by Veterans and Holy Communion.
