Local American Red Cross Hires Upper St. Clair Resident to Increase Development in Western Pennsylvania

Connie Cavrich has been appointed Corporate Major Gifts Officer for the American Red Cross serving Western Pennsylvania. In her new position, Cavrich will be responsible for major gifts from corporations and foundations as well as the cultivation and stewardship of local donors. Prior to her employment with the organization, Cavrich gained extensive fundraising experience for nonprofits through her roles as Director of Development at Catholic Charities and Hospice and Palliative Nurses Foundation. Her background includes managing fund campaigns and annual development plans, executing direct mail programs, writing foundation grants and leading volunteer groups.  A native of Pittsburgh, Cavrich received a bachelor’s degree in public service from Pennsylvania State University. She currently resides in Upper St. Clair with her husband and two daughters.
