Meals on Wheels of Peters Township has been serving the senior citizen community for 40 years, and now delivers up to 200 meals daily a wide area that includes Peters, Canonsburg, Finleyville, Bridgeville, S. Fayette, and neighboring communities. We are continually seeking more volunteers to meet this growing need. Drivers are needed for regular weekly routes and as occasional substitutes to deliver meals to our clients on weekday mornings between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. We especially need winter substitutes for drivers who go out of town. Volunteers are also needed to help in the kitchen on weekday mornings, and to bake desserts at home to donate for our clients' meals.
