The USC Cheerleading Clinic is for grades K through 8. This program is strongly recommended for 8th graders planning on trying out for high school cheerleading. The program is sponsored by USCHS Cheerleading Boosters. The schedule is:
- 1 - 1:30 p.m.: Registration
- 1:30 to 4 p.m.: Cheer Clinic
- 4 to 4:30 p.m.: Performance for Parents
The cost includes cheer/dance instruction, light resfreshments and a cheer dance T-shirt. All participants must wear gym shorts and tennis shoes. No stunts will be taught at this program.
The high school cheerleading coach will meet with incoming freshmen and parents to give tips, information and answer questions about tryouts scheduled for this spring.
The registration deadline is Feb. 22. Pre-registration is necessary in order to guarantee T-shirt. Click here for a registration form.

More About Fort Couch Middle School
All seventh and eighth graders in the Upper St. Clair school district attend Fort Couch Middle School. The school prepares students for high school with a number of academic and extracirricular programs. Parent involvement is also an important aspect for the school. The building is undergoing renovations and should be complete by August 2012.
