Brenda Applegate and Jan Rodgers will be presenting on the history of quilts and the role that quilts and quilting have played in history.
Brenda Applegate is the Executive Director of the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation (BCHRLF).
Jan Rodgers is an Independent Quilt Researcher.Brenda and Jan are Co-directors of The Western Pennsylvania Quilt Documentation Project contributing to The Quilt Index.

More About Community and Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park
The Community and Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park is Upper St. Clair township's 90,000 square foot state-of-the-art community recreation center. The center has an outdoor aquatics center and indoor pool area. There is also an extensive fitness and excercise center, as well as two gymnasiums. Three commuity rooms as well an outside party area are available for meetings and social gatherings. There are several membership plans to meet the varying needs of individuals and families.
