What makes an insect an insect? You’ll go on an “Insect Safari” and get abugs-eye view to find out! As you begin to understand more about them, you'll findthat insects are nothing to fear and play a big role in our ecosystem. Registration isrequested for planning purposes and is required to receive the group discount.

More About The Outdoor Classroom
The Outdoor Classroom is a non-profit environmental education organization that is located in the 475 acres of Boyce Mayview Park, just 12 miles south of downtown Pittsburgh. It offers more than 20 aquatic and terrestrial habitats, which provide school students and community groups with hands-on, interactive opportunities for discovering the natural world. It also features 12 miles of hiking trails for families of all ages to use.
