DESCRIPTION:A collection of school supplies will take place at Fort Couch
  Middle school from Monday\, May 14 through Friday\, May 18 to benefit T
 he Education Partnership. &nbsp\;Families of students who are interested
  in supporting this cause can bring any of the following new items to sc
 hool this week: scissors\, glue\, pens/pencils\, and crayons.\nThe Educa
 tion Partnership is a local non-profit that provides school supplies to 
 students in area schools where 70% or more of the students are on the Na
 tional free/reduced lunch program. &nbsp\;During the 2011-2012 school ye
 ar\, The Education Partnership provided $750\,000 in school supplies to 
 5200 students in our region.\nThe drive was organized by 8th grader\, Jo
 e Paul as part of the school's challenge program. &nbsp\;Items will be c
 ollected during lunch period at Ft. Couch Middle School this week. &nbsp
