Nutrition and Cooking Class Series: How Foods Fight Illness
Upper St. Clair Township Library will host a nutrition
and cooking class series with board-certified Holistic Health Counselor Janet McKee. The series, "How Foods Fight Illness," begins at 7 p.m. on the following Thursdays: January 10, January 17, January 24 and January 31. Topics include: intro to how foods fight cancer and diabetes; fabulous low fat high fiber foods; delicious dairy and meat alternatives; and antioxidants and balance weight naturally. The USC Library is located in the rear of the municipality building. It holds about 100,000 items that can be used for recreational and educational purposes.
