Are the refreshments adult beverages?

I wonder if the members of the Democratic Committee could be any happier than they must be. Our supposed Republican elected officials (with the exception perhaps of only longtime Commissioner Bob Orchowski) have raised taxes and expanded the long arm of government to an extent that is as extraordinary as any community that is comprised primarily of Dems! All they need do is sit back, relax, and leave the driving (into a ditch) to the GOP! It is notable that we heard not a peep of opposition from the party that supposedly looks out for "the little guy" (and gal) when the recreation center colossus scheme was hatched and inflationary and exorbitant school budgets were passed.
