This summer brings exciting adventures for the youngest members of The Outdoor Classroom! Designed for preschool children ages 3-4 and their adult caregivers, this season’s program immerses the children in science while enjoying the summer sunshine. Sessions will explore the shapes and colors of nature, crawling critters, flowers and water. The interactive lessons include a short walk on the shady trails of Boyce Mayview Park, a story and craft.

More About The Outdoor Classroom
The Outdoor Classroom is a non-profit environmental education organization that is located in the 475 acres of Boyce Mayview Park, just 12 miles south of downtown Pittsburgh. It offers more than 20 aquatic and terrestrial habitats, which provide school students and community groups with hands-on, interactive opportunities for discovering the natural world. It also features 12 miles of hiking trails for families of all ages to use.
