Mt. Lebanon’s new Veterans Memorial near the township park off Morgan Drive will be dedicated Sunday night. The ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. as the Mt. Lebanon Veterans Memorial Flag will be raised! The planning has been extensive and the project has been a two year initiative to honor the men and women veterans who served our country.

A driving force behind the project as well as the The Keynote Speaker is Mount Lebanon resident and former Pittsburgh Steeler Rocky Bleier.  Rocky Bleier is a former Vietnam veteran.

So much is planned for this night from music to a formal flag raising by the  honor guard from the Marine Corps League.  It is sure to be an wonderful event. Hope to see you there.
