Holiday Market Time

Holiday Market = panic.

I have spent the last few months making stuff and there is glue and glitter everywhere. The car won't fit into the garage because the garage is full of art market boxes.

Initially the boxes are beautifully packed—stock in some and booth decorations in others—all put together like a jigsaw puzzle. With each market things become increasingly haphazard and badly repacked and in order to avoid crushing things, more and more boxes are used.

Eventually it isn't easy to fit it all into my car and at the end of a market I feel like tossing a match to it all, just to avoid another round of packing and unpacking.

Some of my things are for sale at the moment at the Upper Saint Clair League for the Arts Sugar Plum Shop.

The Sugar Plum shop is full of lovely, lovely things by local artists. It is all set up in the old Rec Center on MacLoughlin Run Road and will be open until Tuesday.
