You're Invited: Holidays at the Community and Recreation Center

Crafts, a concert and a visit from Mr. Claus will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1.

 

'Tis the season!

Upper St. Clair residents and the surrounding area are invited to celebrate the Holidays at the Community and Recreation Center on Saturday, Dec. 1.

The fun begins wiht free sweet treats and arts and crafts at 11 a.m.

Then—rumor has it—Santa Claus will be visiting for an hour starting at 11:30 a.m. (I hope you've been nice).

At noon, families can enjoy a free family concert and singalong with the Community Band South under the direction of James Bennett and Dean Streator and the 40-member Fort Couch Middle School Chorus and Women's Ensemble under the direction of Tom Hunsberger.

Ryan McCleaster, assistant director of recreation and leisure services, said with three planned performances, the music should cater to all ages.
