USC Falls to Bethel Park

Upper St. Clair is now 5-1.

 

Bethel Park football defeated Upper St. Clair Friday night 24-17.

According to the Post-Gazette, Upper St. Clair had 16 first downs and 319 total yards. Bethel Park had only three first downs and 107 total yards.

"A game like none I've been in," Upper St. Clair coach Jim Render told the newspaper.

How is it even possible? Bethel Park had six kickoff returns for a total of 254 yards. That's an average of 42 yards/return, according to @USCStats.

USC is now 5-1 and will play the Hall of Fame game at home at 7:30 p.m. next Friday against Plum Senior High School.

Bethel Park is 5-2 and will travel to Seneca Valley next week.
