Upper St. Clair Establishments Welcome Back the Pens

The drink and food specials offered during Pittsburgh Penguins games.

Sports bars in and near Upper St. Clair are happy to have the Pittsburgh Penguins playing again after the long lockout, despite Wednesday night's loss.

"We are extremely happy that the Penguins are playing again. There was a real void in the Pittsburgh sporting world. We definitely saw a difference in our night bar business once the college football season ended. We get an enthusiastic crowd for the Pens games," said Barbara Joyce of Stonepepper's Grill.

Stonepepper's doesn't have any specific special for Pens games, but they do have a special for every night of the week. For the next Pens game on Friday night, the special is Sam Adams Seasonal 16-ounce drafts for $3.50 and the 23-ounce drafts for $4.50; Sam Adams bottles for $3.50; and half-price pizzas at the bar from 9 p.m. to midnight. Click here for the full list of specials.

It's the first Penguins season for the new Primanti Brothers in Mt. Lebanon. Enjoy $1 drafts and $1 pizza slices during all Pens games.

And at TGIFriday's in Bethel Park, customers can get half-price appetizers during Pens games.

No, you've confused them with Stiller fans.

Watch out for the cops if you drink more than 2 beers!

Duke, is the issue of excessive drinking one of avoiding the cops, or an issue of personal safety and others on the road? What do cops have to do with drinking beers in this establishment?
