Not coincidentally, the same technologies that have driven the increasing popularity of the tech cartoon provide the inspiration for much of its humor.  “It’s-geek-2-me” centers on people and their off-center relationships with their computers, the Internet, smart phones, social networks, gaming devices, mp3 players, e-book readers, gps systems and other amazing technologies, all inspired by real-life events.

Francis has found a way to hack into our collective funny bones and trigger some sort of laugh-out-loud virus that spreads instantaneously as you share his cartoons with your friends,” stated Joe Wos, Toonseum executive director.

My tech cartoon is about these diverse characters who work at the fictional company, Paradox Software Corporation located in Pittsburgh,” said Cleetus While the strip is fictional, the inspiration for the characters and stories is based in real-life experiences I’ve had over the years and continue to have every day. It’s not a book only for geeks, however. Anyone who deals with everyday technologies can relate to the humor in this book.”

"Wish Your Mouth had a Backspace Key is a truly original and funny compilation illustrating some of the more telling changes technology is catalyzing in each of our lives. It’s a perfect book to LOL at the memes of the day," stated Sean Ammirati, COO of ReadWriteWeb.

"This work is my attempt to pay homage to the many interesting characters I’ve met in my own life and to honor their spirit for living in a time and age where technology touches virtually everything," Cleetus said.

“It's Geek-2-Me tech toons seem to be peopled with characters born of a liaison between a middle-aged Dilbert and a hot South-Asian techie,” stated Anuja Chauhan, author of The Zoya Factor and Battle for Bittora.
