Wind Chill Advisory Issued for Upper St. Clair

The National Weather Service has updated its forecast.

 

Upper St. Clair is under a wind chill advisory until 11 Wednesday morning.

The wind chill values will be as low as -14 degrees.

The National Weather Service, located in Moon Township, warns that frost bite and hypothermia are possible if precautions are not taken.

Upper St. Clair School District is running on a two-hour delay with a modified kindergarten schedule. The morning kindergarten session will take place from 10:15 to 11:55 a.m. and the afternoon session will be from 1:05 to 2:45 p.m.

Here's the latest forecast for Upper St. Clair:

  • Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 12. Wind chill values as low as -14. West wind around 15 mph.
  • Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 1. Wind chill values as low as -11. West wind 9 to 11 mph.
  • Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 17. Wind chill values as low as -14. West wind 9 to 11 mph.
