After cheering for the Pittsburgh Penguins for years, Dylan Reese was a member of his favorite team on Thursday night.

The 2003 Upper St. Clair High School graduate spent more than 14 minutes on the ice during the Pens’ 5-2 victory over the Washington Capitals.

Reese was called up from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday night.

According to the Pittsburgh Penguins website, coach Dan Bylsma was impressed with Reese's play on Thursday night.

Four of Reese's family members attended the game.
