Rain, Shine or Snow: Get Your Hunt On

Take part in the annual tradition.

Upper St. Clair's annual (and free) Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, rain, shine or snow.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh is currently calling for rain and snow in Upper St. Clair on Saturday morning.

The event is brought to you each year by the Bethel-St. Clair Evening Rotary Club and the Upper St. Clair High School Interact Club, with the assistance of the Upper St. Clair Department of Recreation and Leisure Services.

Children should bring their own small baskets to hold the candy-filled eggs, and parents should bring their cameras for an Easter Bunny appearance.

Child-friendly activities begin at 10 a.m. at the shelter behind the old Recreation Center on McLaughlin Run Road.

At 10:45 a.m., there'll be a drawing for a grand prize prior to the start of the egg hunt.

The egg hunt will be held on the municipal 3-hole golf course. Children should be at their age-appropriate "egg circles" by 11 a.m. There will be a limited number of eggs with a number inside that may be redeemed for a stuffed animal at the covered patio area of the Recreation Center.
