NRA, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Backs Murphy

Rep. Tim Murphy received two endorsements this week.

U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Upper St. Clair) received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce this week.

Due to Murphy’s leadership on the issues important to gun owners and second amendment advocates the NRA-PVF supports his candidacy in the upcoming election.

The NRA specifically cited Murphy’s leadership on the “National Right to Carry Reciprocity Act” and the “The Veterans’ Heritage Firearms Act” in the 112th Congress in addition to his unwavering support of the second amendment.

“I’m honored to again earn the endorsement of the National Rifle Association. Our constitutional liberties are under siege like no other time in recent memory," Murphy said.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tom Donohue stated that he believes Murphy's re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives will help produce sustained economic growth, help create more jobs and get our country back on track.
