Numerous car windows and taillights were smashed last week during a night-time vandalism spree that struck vehicles cars parked in Scott Township and Mt. Lebanon neighborhoods.
Numerous car windows and taillights were smashed last week during a night-time vandalism spree that struck vehicles cars parked in Scott Township and Mt. Lebanon neighborhoods.
Upper St. Clair police dealt with a rash of vandalism incidents in late spring and early summer.
Scott Township police said at least six cars were vandalized during the early hours of Aug. 29 with the majority of the damage being done to vehicles parked on Artvue, Borland, Berwood and Moynelle.
Residents living in that area said they heard of more reports on other nearby streets. Scott police said they also received some reports of damage done to cars in neighboring Mt. Lebanon.
Police said they are not sure who did the damage, although they think it’s connected. They’re urging anyone with information on the vandalism to contact them at 412-276-7725.
Cars were reported vandalized in the following areas:
- 700 block Artvue Drive
- 2000 block Borland Road
- 1600 block Berkwood Drive
- 1900 block Berkwood Drive
- 1900 block Berkwood Drive
- 1600 block Moynelle Drive
