From raffles to mattress sales to recreating a Korean guy's hit music video, the firefighters from the South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company have made one thing very clear: They are creative.

On Wednesday, a group of firemen from Baldwin Borough's southernmost station posted a four-and-a-half-minute-long music video on YouTube to the tune of "Gangnam Style" by Korean rapper Psy.

Psy's original video, only on YouTube since July, has turned out to be one of the most popular Internet videos ever, racking up over 400 million hits and counting due in large part to its offbeat dancing and other content.

At the end of the South Baldwin video, which appears to have been filmed in the borough itself—there are scenes at Colewood Park, for example—one of the firemen talks about October being Fire Safety Month. The firemen offers tips on fire prevention and asks for borough residents and other interested donors to contribute to the fire company.

"We survive on donations from people like you," he says. "We're a 501(c)(3), and if you'd like to donate to us, you can (do so via) PayPal.

"Thank you."

No, sir, thank you.

Will we be seeing anything similar coming out of the Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department in the near future?!
