Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closures
What's open and closed in Upper St. Clair on Monday, Jan. 16.
There is no school for students in the Upper St. Clair School District on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
However, there is a school board committee of the whole meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. in the central office of the Upper St. Clair School District administrative building.
The Upper St. Clair Community and Recreation Center will be open on Monday. Registered students grades 1-6 will be participating in a Day of Service at the C&RC on Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Upper St. Clair Public Library will also be open, according to its website.
Township offices are open.
Allegheny County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and federal offices and courts will be closed—including Upper St. Clair/Bethel Park's district magistrate's office.
The Upper St. Clair Post Office will be closed.
State liquor stores, traditional banks and PennDOT driver license and photo centers will not be open.
The Port Authority of Allegheny County will operate regular bus, T and incline service.
Upper St. Clair trash collection will not be affected by the holiday.
