Hundreds Turn Out to 'Celebrate Our Schools Gala'
The second annual gala fundraiser for the Upper St. School District was held Saturday night at St. Clair Country Club.

More than 250 people attended the "Celebrate Our Schools Gala" Saturday night at St. Clair Country Club.
The second annual gala raised money for new technology equipment in the Upper St. Clair School District classrooms and for a new public address system in the high school football stadium.
About $47,000 was donated from corporate sponsors, including a $5,000 sponsorship from South Hills Orthopaedic Associates.
Coach Jim Render and the 1988 and 1989 WPIAL Championship football teams were the night's honored guests.
U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, also attended the function.
