1. Screen-Free Week
Where/When: Nationwide, Apr. 18-24
Did you know that this week is Screen-free week?! Across the country families are making the conscious decision to turn off the TV and other electronic devices and spending time together as a family. If you haven’t participated in this event yet — do so this weekend!
2. Springtime Eggspress
Where/When: South Hills Village: Lower Level North Court, Monday - Saturday: 10:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Sunday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Why Go: The kids will love it! Take the children to South Hills Village for an Easter-themed ride.
Pricing: $2.25 for one ride, $7 for 4 rides
3. Photos with the Easter Bunny
Where/When: South Hills Village: Lower Level North Court, Daily, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Why Go: To meet the Easter Bunny! Take adorable pictures with the Easter bunny to share with your whole family!
Pricing: Digital photo packages will be available.
4. Simmons Farm Easter Egg Hunt
Where/When: Simmons Farm, Daily, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Why Go?: Children will decorate their Easter egg gathering bag, collect 12 eggs in exchange for prizes, decorate flower pot and plant flowers, color a craft, visit the petting zoo and enjoy the nature challenge trail. If the weather is bad the event will be moved to the greenhouse.

5. Twos and Threes Storytime
Where/When: Upper St. Clair Library, Thursday, 10 a.m.
Why Go?: This is a special program for you and your two - three year old. The program includes stories, rhymes, songs, puppets and more! Join the fun in the Children's Story Room.
Pricing: Free!
6. Pre-school Storytime
Where/When: Upper St. Clair Library, Thursday, 1:45 p.m.
Why Go?: Pre-school children, ages 3 1/2 - 5, will enjoy this fun and educational half-hour class of songs, finger plays and book-related activities.

7. Easter Kids Baking Class
Where/When: Pie Place, Friday, 12 - 4 p.m.
Why Go: Ages 4 and up will love this Easter cooking class! Each child will decorate a stand up lamb cake using basic cake decorating techniques and fondant accents to take home and enjoy on Easter. Classes are one hour and will be offered from 12-4 p.m. Call to register!

8. Saturday Storytime
Where/When: Barnes & Noble, Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why Go?: Children of all ages are invited to join Mr. Timothy for storytime.
Pricing: Free
9. Riverhounds Home Opener
Where/When: Chartiers Valley Senior High School , Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go?: There is plenty to enjoy at the Riverhounds home opener! Before the game, kids can sign up to be a ball or ball girl for the team. While you watch the team take on their rivals, the Harrisburg City Islanders, kids are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt with prizes for the winners. Stick around after the game to meet the team and get autographs. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or by phone.

10. Bedner’s Farm & Greenhouse Official Grand Re-Opening
