Boyce Road Improvements Begin Thursday

Motorists should expect delays.

Work to improve Boyce Road in Upper St. Clair and South Fayette townships will begin on Thursday, June 14, weather permitting.

Crews will be upgrading drainage, milling and paving, and performing base repairs about 1.2 miles of Boyce Road from Washington Pike to Washington Road.

Traffic will be restricted to a single, 11-foot wide lane alternating use in the work area weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and weeknights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Weekend work and restrictions will also occur as needed from 6 p.m. on Fridays through 6 a.m. on Mondays. Work will conclude in late August.

The project is included in a $2.9 million contract with A. Folino Construction of Oakmont for improvements on several roadways in Allegheny County.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution and expect delays when traveling through the area.
