Bonefish Grill Approved for Upper St. Clair
Representatives said they're shooting for a late September opening.
Upper St. Clair commissioners gave approval Monday night for the construction of a new Bonefish Grill restaurant with a 6-0 vote.
Representatives for the restaurant said they are shooting for a late September opening.
The restaurant will be built near the new Target that is being constructed in South Hills Village. The front of the restaurant will face Washington Road.
Sidewalks and crosswalks will be built from the Target to Bonefish Grill for improved pedestrian access.
Representatives will return to the commissioners with an application for outdoor dining.
Bonefish Grill is a seafood restaurant chain that started in Florida. It is owned by the Tampa-based OSI Restaurant Partners, which also owns the Outback Steakhouse franchises.
Commissioner Glenn Dandoy did not vote. He was absent from Monday's meeting.

Another run of the mill chain restaurant. What's next Red Lobster and Smokey Bones...

Bonefish is far from run of the Mill and one of my favorites. Great to see we will have this option locally. The comparisons to some of the chains listed is inaccurate. A welcome addition!
