USC Middle School Fundraising Event for Casey's Clubhouse
Teachers from Fort Couch and Boyce Middle School are in the process of planning this year’s middle school fundraising event. This year the event’s proceeds will support Casey’s Clubhouse in its quest to build a special needs accessible playground near the current “Miracle League” baseball field at the USC Community and Recreation Center. To help maximize the funds raised at our event, we are looking for individuals and businesses that would be interested in donating supplies to help us run the event (food, drinks, etc.) as well as items that could be used as give-aways or raffle/silent-auction prizes. In the past, we have raised (after expenses) a total of $19,000 in our two events: $7,000 for Casey's Clubhouse in 2011 and $12,000 for Grady's All-Stars in 2012. Community connections were a vital part in the success of those events, and for that reason, we wanted to extend our request to the entire community to support this event and more importantly, Casey's Clubhouse. Their past and present work has proven to be extremely beneficial to our entire community and is very worthy of the time and donations that will go into making this event a success. Below is the important information for the event and charity:
Event: "The Playground Games"
Charity: Casey's Clubhouse
Purpose of Fundraising: To raise money to build a special needs accessible playground - though it will also be available for all children - near the fields at the Upper St. Clair Community and Recreation Center. (The location of the future playground is the star in the attached picture.)

Contact Information: Please contact Brad Wilson at bwilson@uscsd.k12.pa.us if you are interested in providing a donation or to support in any other way.
